The hydraulic wedge or prying arm allows the felling of big trees (from 45 cm diameter) without alot of vibration, so reducing the danger of falling deadwood. The low profile aluminium pressure plate protects the steel working parts from chainsaw damage. 15 stainless steel bolts give a firm a grip even on frozen trunks. The combined pump pedal and release mechanism makes for easier removal of the pressure plate from the trunk. Hydraulic wedges or prying arms are used on large trees which would otherwise be difficult to fell. Their particular application allows for safe and accurate felling of 'problem' trees. Comprehensive training in the use of this equipment, by properly qualified staff, should be undertaken prior to use. Technical details: lifting power 30 t. Size: 19 x 18 x 26.5 cm. Weight: 14 kg.
