Nordforest pulleys for forwarders working with forestry winches . Type SR-FS13 Pulleys. Sheaves for this series were specially developed for rough use with forestry winches when skidding and provide maximum safety. The sheave’s groove is especially deep with high edges at 48°to the winch cable, so extremely safe. The pulley size complies with all applicable standards for forestry winches. The diameter of the sheave groove surface is 10 times larger than the cable’s diameter. To avoid bruising use extra wide straps and slings. The pulley’s retaining lug absorbs lateral forces and simultaneously ensures the correct anchor position (webbing or round sling). The locking pin cannot be lost, is secured automatically and then backed up with a threaded locking lever. To anchor the pulley, we recommend using our specially manufactured slings or straps; these are tailored to their roles and offer maximum safety.
