By squeezing the clamp from both sides, you'll open it up in order to insert the cable. With a pull the clamp will be firmly set on the cable. You then have a solid mounting point for chains (for example) on the cable. For steel cables from 5.5 mm to 14 mm in diameter. Only use for tensioning and dragging in. Maximum load 3.6 t. Not suitable for sealed steel cables. Weight 2.9 kg.
