This ergonomic planting technique is suitable for both coniferous and deciduous saplings with roots up to 30 cm long. The area to be planted does not have to be cleared. Difficult soil which cannot be crumbled does limit the use of this planting technique quite considerably. The great thing about the Neheim Planting Spade is the planting hole is made by using bodyweight only. In addition, 80 % of the work can be done in an upright position. Blade length 400 mm.
