A hand held metal detector with an acoustic signal, locating electronics, rechargeable batteries in the shaft and a coil that can swivel. Approved by the German Forestry Association's testing agency (FPA). A simple, practical and compact design. Electro-magnetic pulses from the search coil return as acoustic signals on finding an object with differing tone frequencies for locating. Sensitivity control is continuously adjustable. Depending on shape and size, a foreign object can be detected up to 40 cm deep. Battery power lasts for at least 1 day shift. Length 1430 mm / 1125 mm (with and without extension). Weight 2340 g / 2060 g (with and without extension). Delivery includes: 260 mm diameter detector coil with jointed connector and flange mounted shaft with inbuilt electronics, inbuilt loudspeaker and single on/off switch. Battery holder for 6 x 1.5 V baby cells (LR 14 C Cell), 1 battery set and user instructions.
