A portable, one man log splitter which works of a tractor's hydraulics. This splitting device allows you to split logs whatever their length or diameter. In the case of fibrous wood and very long logs, it can also be used across the grain. Logs on the ground can be split once or multiple times, as required. For attaching to a tractor or Unimog, the vehicle has to have two hydraulic connectors. 1 pressure line and 1 return line. Connection is with a STS -3-12L plug = standard size. The 10 m long hose connection between tractor and splitter give's the operator plenty of room to work. Technical Data: Transverse splitting up to 220 mm. Wedge pressure 7500 kg. Oil pressure 150 bar, required rate of oil flow 10 l/min. Splitting stroke 200 mm. Wedge length 180 mm. Wedge thickness 120 mm. Noise emission 70 dB (A). Weight of splitter 16.00 kg
