For making loops on compacted and non-compacted winch cables using Flemish eyes.
For clamping rope or cable ends. Use on ropes or cables from 8-14 mm diameter. After threading, place in the open rope clamp. The rope end should be 5-7 mm clear of the clamp in the direction of the main rope, so there's a rest of circa 2 mm remaining after clamping. Clamp 4 times working from the main rope in the direction of the loop. A distance of circa 3 mm should be maintained between clamps. Operating the lever produces 13 tons of pressure. Keep the lever actuated until the clamp releases the pressure. The handle should then be turned to open and pressed down again. This opens a valve and the jaws return to their original state. Delivery includes 7 sets of jaws (from 8 - 14mm). Weight 9.66 kg
WARNING. This type of clamping is only allowed in forestry ground winching, using Flemish Eyes.
