A moisture meter for quick and accurate moisture checks on wood chips to be used in boilers or damp chips from waste for power stations. The measurement complies with EU-DIN CEN/TS 14774 - 1:2004 technical specifications. Results are displayed in percentages by weight. Measurement range for whole tree wood chips 12 - 40 %, for wood chips from waste 30 - 70 %. This maintenance-free meter has 4 scales for different types of wood chips (1 x for whole tree wood chips, 3 x for wood chips from waste). Measurements are taken between the spike and probe plate in circular areas of circa 20 cm in diameter. Delivery includes a carrying case. To operate a 9V black battery is required (not included).
